Ask Ebaby! Teachers Go Super!

Take the photograph

Dear Teacher,

If I would like to ask my friends to be taken the photograph with me so we will be all together in one picture, what should I say? Can I say "would you mind taking photograph with me?"  I' m not sure because to say that may mean asking them to push the shutter in the camera instead of being with me and be taken the picture.

            Thank you very much.

Thanks for your question! We often say "take a picture with me" when we want someone to be in a picture with us. You can also say, "Will you be in a picture with me?" Either way is acceptable.
