Summer is a great time for music. Many of the biggest music stars tour during the summer, some of them gathering together for music festivals. Many concerts and festivals are held outdoors, so you can enjoy the music and the weather.
If you’re looking for a good way to spend a summer evening, you should check out a concert at an amphitheater. Listening to beautiful live music as the sun goes down is a wonderful experience.

During the summer, most big cities have musical performances of some sort almost every night. If you check the local newspaper’s arts & entertainment section, you’re bound to find some good live music to check out.
If you want to see a lot of great bands in one show, you should attend one of the big music festivals, like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits or the Warped Tour.
Some big time artists are touring together, so you can get more for your money. For example, the Jay-Z and 50 Cent are playing on one bill, as are Beck and Dashboard Confessional.

Discussion

If you’re a music fan, you should definitely check out a summer concert. Being surrounded by thousands of other people who are all singing along to your favorite songs is an experience you’ll never forget. I’m going to see the Counting Crows and John Mayer in a few weeks. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome!
Stay cool!
- John
