Imagine you have a big party to plan for your family or friends. Do you begin by thinking about the main idea, or do you start with the small details and work your way up? Some people feel satisfied when they look at the big picture. If you are like this, you might focus first on how you want the event to feel or how many people you want to invite. On the other hand, if you are a detail-oriented person, you might be more interested in figuring out what’s on the menu, how to decorate your house, and what music you want to play.
It can be fun to plan something down to the last little finishing touch. However, sometimes putting too much focus on the details can bring you to your knees! When you pay so much attention to the small things that you forget about the main idea, you can’t see the forest for the trees. People who can’t see the forest for the trees lose track of the big picture. For example, if you spend so much time choosing napkin colors that you forget to invite anyone, you’ve definitely lost track of the main idea of having a party!
The Travel Bug team is finally filming their commercial. Watch the video to see how it goes.

The cameras are rolling! The director films Kelsey singing and walking through the park. Andy and Sheila are looking at reports. They seem upset. But when Kelsey walks past them, they suddenly feel happy again. They start following her and singing along. The group passes Jordin and Dominique, who are sitting on a bench. Jordin and Dominique join in on the song as well. Together, the whole Travel Bug team sings about their company. Travel Bug can help everyone’s travel dreams come true!
The director yells, “Cut!” He tells them they did a great job. The commercial was perfect. However, he still wants to run through it one more time. Everyone is surprised. Really? They did so well, and now they have to do it again?!
Do you like to travel? Do you get frustrated when you have to re-do something?
